Jaime Pressly, The New Bride Talks Wedding Bliss
Dec 27th, 2009 • Category: Gossips
Jaime Pressly finds herself in an unlikely place this holiday season: on the cover of InStyle Weddings magazine. The My Name Is Earl star tied the knot with entertainment lawyer Simran Singh in September, despite thinking she’d never make her way down the aisle — and in the latest issue, she spills details about the nuptials.
Pressly describes the decor as “old Hollywood meets shabby chic.” She wore a gown designed by Carolina Herrera, diamonds and pearls, and 200 guests looked on as she and her father danced to Louis Armstrong’s “It’s a Wonderful World.”
And as for Singh? The couple said “I do” only four months after they first met, and Pressly said (via PopEater): “I’ve been on my own for 17 years. I have a son, Dezi James, who is two years old [from former longtime boyfriend, DJ Eric Cubiche] and a successful career. I’m not flying by the seat of my pants. We’re both ready.”
She continued, “I was attracted to him right away. His smile, his beautiful skin — and there’s a wonderful intelligence about him. I loosen him up a bit and he makes me feel protected and loved. Sim is the first person I met that I was confident I would be able to grow old with.”
